Pugs, like every other breed of dog, have some who do not or cannot maintain them once they have been adopted, or who consider that animals are throwaway objects. Thankfully, for as many as there are, there are individuals that care about what happens to the pug and are ready to go out of their way to find them fantastic homes and get them out of the situation they are in and give them a permanent loving home and family.
Pug rescue organizations may be found in practically every state, as well as numerous excellent ones in the United Kingdom. If you want to give a pug who doesn’t have one home, it may be a bit of a stretch, and you may need to work through some prior difficulties with your new companion, but it will establish trust and love, and the pug will be your closest friend for the rest of his life if you do.
Make sure you’re ready to deal with any issues that may arise when you take in a rescue pug. Some may have health issues, while others may have behavioral issues, but with the correct amount of love and perseverance, you can work through them. Giving a Pug a second shot in a loving home might be something you’re really excellent at and ready to do. If this is the case, there are several listings of pug rescue groups available on the internet. A brief list has been given for your convenience.
